WikisailingOur Review
Wikisailing is a Virtual Worldwide sailing guide by air. Choose from the menu on the left in French or English.

I chose Harbours and then La Rochelle on the West Coast of France in the Bay of Biscay. You will then see a guide to the area including a virtual flyover by clicking on the helicopter on the right and using the controls you can tour the area from the air.

To see how this works click on the image left and then hit the run button to get a tour of the harbour at Les Sables d’Olonne the start for the next ” Vendee Globe ” . As the plane circles ove the harbor it then flys south down the coast to the next harbor and then eventually onto La Rochelle. You an see the track on the map bottom right in red.

You can control the speed of the helicopter or plane ( you choose this as well) to get to the next harbor and then slow down again. This is a fun trip down the Bay of Biscays coastline.
