Kiwi Anchor riderAdded to MyBoatsGear on 10/15/2009
The kiwi anchor rider is applied over the anchor line after the main anchor has been set. Once on the anchor line you lower the anchor rider down the line to the required depth. The anchor weight sets the anchor angle to the seabed to a much lower angle than you would normally get under the same scope. This is very useful especially in a crowded anchorage.
